The Fox and the Goat response

The maxim of the story is never trust a rumor until you have verified the facts and used your own brains. Never followed the crowd blindly or you will end up in deep trouble. Like, in the story the fox was caught in the deep well, used his guile to convince the innocent goat into believing his false rumor and following him in the well. When he accomplished that, he left her in the trouble and saved his own skin by climbing onto her back.
